How to clear negative energy in your home

How to clear your home from negative energy

Do you believe that a home can emit some negative energy? Have you ever been in a place where you suddenly felt very uncomfortable for no explainable reason or at the opposite felt incredibly well? If yes, then this article is for you! I really do believe that the energy is surrounding us, although we cannot always see it. It is in the sun that brighten our days and warms our skin, the wind that blows the clouds, the water that falls from a mountain, the air that is the magic ingredient to create a fire, plants that grow and create oxygen, animals and humans that come from nothingness and get born, breath, grow, learn, think, move and die. Everything is energy!

While we are at home, we do live some life experiences that generate emotions and energies, which remain in the place even when we have left. These vibes can really have an impact on your day-to-day life at home. Did you move to a new place and can’t have a good sleep? Do you have sudden mood change? Stress? Anxiety? No worries, there is a way to get rid of the negative energy to improve your well being in your place! And for that you only need cedar incense.

It is a technique inspired from the Indians of North America that used to clean the bad vibes of their tepee with white sage. This cleaning should be done before moving into the new home and every month if you receive lots of people (which may not be actually the case ahahah) or if you feel there is like a heavy atmosphere at home. You can also use it to clean the bad energy inside your car!

So here is the process to clear negative energy in your home:

  1. Close your entrance door and start with the rooms that have a window.
  2. So when you start with the first room; close the door and open the window so that the bad vibrations go outside.
  3. Light a cedar incense stick and go at the opposite corner of the window.
  4. With the smoke of the cedar stick, you draw in the corner an infinite symbol that has the right loop unclosed, so it rather looks like a fish. Draw this « fish » tree times with the cedar smoke.
  5. Continue to draw the « fish » three times on each piece of furniture and even under some furniture that gives you bad vibes because they are dark such as tables, shelves etc. Clean the room clockwise.
  6. When leaving the room, close the door tightly and move on to another room which has a window. If you have windowless rooms, keep them for the end.
  7. For the windowless rooms, do the same ritual but keep the door of the room open so that the bad vibrations go into the hallway.
  8. Once all the rooms have been cleaned and the remaining negative energy is in the hallway, open the entrance door and start gesturing from the end of the hallway to the front door.
  9. Then close the entrance door.
  10. And let the incense end in the room where you spend most of your time such as the living room.

I hope you find this article useful; if you know any other technique to get rid of negatives vibes, please share in the comments. I would be very happy to lean more about it! Bisous, Melissa ♡

Lemon’s powers

December 18, 2015
lemon tree

When I settled in Spain, I was so impressed by the beautiful landscapes of the countryside with all these lemon trees. As I decided to have a healthier life, I started making research about the lemon which is growing in every garden here. And yes, our grandmas were definitely right, the lemon has extraordinary virtues for the health and we forgot them! So I’ve changed my morning routine and I actually wake up each morning with a fresh lemon water which is an excellent detox drink and a lot more! I know, it doesn’t sound really fun to replace a Tropicana juice for a lemon water ahah. But here are 6 reasons why the lemon water is good for you and so we should listen more to our grandma’s witch remedies:

  1. You won’t be sick this winter: the limon kills the naughty little batteries and helps to equilibrate the PH of your body which is just vital.
  2. You are not constipated: its juice is stimulating the digestion, you will go to the loo in the 5 next min 😉
  3. It helps you to get slimmer: the lemon is an appetite suppressant and rich in C vitamin which helps to burn calories ! By the way, the fruit has only 19 calories
  4. You will keep a young skin: in addition to its detox and diuretic properties, the lemon has hydrating virtues that will help you to have a healthy skin. The C vitamin and antioxydant contribute to reduce the wrinkles and fight against the aging of the skin
  5. Your body is detoxified: the lemon has detox virtues, diuretic (so you definitely need a toilet close) and cleans your liver
  6. You have a fresh breath: no need to take a tic-tac, the lemon is refresheng the breath but that’s not a reason to forget to clean your teeth right?

So are you convinced now? If you want to benefit from the properties of the lemon water, you just have to press your fresh lemon in lukewarm mineral water, and drink your preparation around 15min before your breakfast! Bisous, Melissa

In addition to be a delicious fruit, the pomegranate is renown as a superfruit for its multiples qualities. Here are 6 good reasons to eat pomegranates!

Benefits of the pomegranate:

  1. Powerful antioxidant : some studies demonstrated its high concentration in antioxidant, greater that the strawberry, plum, cherry and even more that the red wine and the green tea that are very famous for their  anti-ageing special agents.
  2. Very rich in C vitamin : 1 pomegranate provides 40 % of the daily needs in C vitamin
  3. Boost the immune system: ideal in winter to resist against all the naughty microbes
  4. Participate in preventing the cardiovascular diseases, some cancers, Alzheimer’s disease and the stomach ulcer. It would even have a beneficial effect in the blood circulation and the hypertension.

Alert! Crazy trick to eat easily the pomegranate !

Have you ever wondered how you could eat the pomegranate not with a small spoon but with a soup spoon, without getting mad, without getting the fingers sticky when eating each grain one by one with the speed of a turtle ninja?

==>  I got a simple solution for you: just cut the pomegranate in 2 and hit each half with a soup spoon on the skin side. You will notice that this trick is amazing because you only have the grains that fall into the bowl. You just need to enjoy them with a soup spoon 🙂
